Everything is different in Bali. Coffee was not introduced here by the Dutch, as it was on Java or Sumatra. Traders from the neighboring island of Lombok once brought the coffee plant to Bali. We source both Arabica and Robusta beans exclusively in the north of the island, where they ripen at altitudes of up to 1,700 meters. Due to the traditional wet processing, Bali coffee is brighter and stronger than when processed dry.
